Halo in unheated Sri Lanka's sapphire.

A 16.67 carat beautiful sapphire was brought to our lab for research purpose. Except for the long undissolved rutile needles (img3), this unheated Sri Lanka’s sapphire also has the black uraninite crystals with stress halo due to radiation (img 4). Check it out and let us know what you think! 💎
